A project for providing drinking water to habitations in Godavari and Pusur segments-covering Bhadrachalam, Pinapaka, Aswaraopet, Sathupally (part), Kothagudem, Yellandu, Wyra(part) and constituencies of Khammam district of Telangana State
The scope of work includes construction of Sumps/GLBR/GLSR 51800 KL, OHBR/ELSRs/BPT 1750 KL, DI Pipeline 784.51 km, HDPE Pipeline 2001.69 km, BWSC Pipeline 24.43 km, PCCP Pipeline 75.09 km, MS Pipeline 75.89 km, Water treatment plant (RSF) 145 MLD, pump houses (33), watchmen quarter (12), and compound wall at 20 locations.
The duration of the project is 30 months and the total population covered under this scheme will be 12, 95,000 from 1826 villages. Operation and maintenance will be for 10 years including a defects liability period (DLP) of 5 years.
